I teach Hatha style yoga which involves a slower pace yoga where the poses or forms are held for longer than you would expect in a flow-style class. This is a great place for all levels of individuals from beginner to advanced, to slow down and bring breath and pause into their practice to reduce stress and create mind-body awareness.

Absolutely! I LOVE teaching beginners and bring an all inclusive energy to every class I teach. No matter if you're a beginner, reconnecting to your practice, or a regular yogi, this is the place for you.

YES you can! I start each yoga class with some basic breathwork to become aware of the breath and a short meditation that brings you gently into the world of meditation through the ease of simple visualizations and centered breathing. More in depth meditation and breathwork can be explored when you are ready! There is no timeline or rush. Practice at your own pace.

I hear this one a lot and the answer is 100% YES! There are no prerequisites to begin a yoga practice. Yoga is for everyBODY, you do not need to fit a certain type of mold to join any of the classes I offer. Anyone and everyone is always welcome. I am happy to teach to all levels of yogis.

YES yes and yes! There are so many types of yoga available. My training involves Chair and Aqua yoga which does not involve the up and down body motion on a mat. I can also create a yoga sequence to cater to your specific goals!

There are many misconceptions of yoga out there through mainstream media and image-based information. As a woman with a bigger body, I know how it can feel being in a class setting and falling behind the instructor or others practicing. The feelings of shame or embarrassment can come up from feeling like everyone is looking at you.
I make it my mission to acknowledge every student in the room and read the energy. I will do my best to make you feel as comfortable and included as possible while allowing you to practice as you see fit. I will never call anyone out, I simply give options and modifications for different poses so that everyone can participate to their own level of ease and comfort. I invite us all to be gentle with ourselves and remember that yoga is and always will be a practice
My energy picks up on this like a radar system because I have been there and I am happy to have a conversation to answer any questions and put your mind at ease before you take the next step. I live by the heart-centered statement that yoga is for everyBODY that is open to it. All sizes, shapes, ages and stages- ALL are welcome here!

We can have a conversation about that. I offer a sliding scale and possible trade depending on your needs and goals. I also offer a donation based class once a week on zoom, your camera is not required to be on.
